UN/NOTED exhibited in Burgas

United Bulgarian Bank presents the most valuable works of its collection in Burgas town. Starting from 14 July until 5 August the UN/NOTED exposition will be staying with one of the oldest art galleries in Bulgaria – Petko Zadgorski Art Gallery in Burgas (24, Mitropolit Simeon Str.). Admission to the exhibition is free of charge and it is opened Monday till Friday from 9:00 AM until 06:00 PM, while on Saturdays – from 10:00 AM until 01:00 PM and from 02:00 PM until 05:30 PM.

The favourite Bulgarian seaside town is the eleventh stop along the route of UBB’s travelling exhibition UN/NOTED. The unique exposition contains unknown works, painted by some of the most renowned Bulgarian classic and modern artists. Burgas residents and visitors will have the exceptional chance to see the works of Bulgarian painting arts signature authors, among whom Haralampi Iliev, Vasil Marinov, Radomir Mandov, Zlatyu Boyadzhiev, Hristo Kavarnaliev, Nikola Tanev, Ivan Tabakov, Yordan Kisyov, Vesko Velev, Antoniy Sofev and others. Along with paintings and graphics UBB collection also comprises unique typewriters and mechanical calculators, wall clocks and other antiques. These guide visitors through the history of the Bulgarian banking business.

Special attention among artists is being attracted by academician Hristo Staykov, born in Ekzarh Antimovo village near Burgas. A master of painting and classic graphic art he is presented at the UN/NOTED with his drypoint work After Rain.
